Flexible Office Furniture and Interiors has recently completed a project at a number of Vernon Building Society premises in Stockport, culminating in the grand reopening of their flagship St Petersgate branch, in celebration of their centenary. The office space, shown in pictures below, was designed by Standing Space, with the installation and fit-out work completed by local businesses, including Monks Morton Design Interiors, Sharp, and Flexible Office Furniture and Interiors.
Additionally, as part of their centenary celebrations, Vernon Building Society also launched the Vernon Charitable Foundation, a fund of over £100,000 to support local charities in Stockport, Cheshire, and Greater Manchester, with the first four grant recipients being Stockport Lads Club, Cheadle Heath Community Association, Stockport Canal Boat Trust, and Café Unity.
The celebration, which took place on 27th March, featured the contribution of students from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School, who helped create a time capsule which will be opened in 100 years, as well as an appearance by the Vernon Bear mascot, and the grand reopening of the St Petersgate branch to the public.
The St Petersgate flagship is open, light, and welcoming, with plenty of places to sit, and brings together the company’s heritage with a brand new fresh look.
